No. “Searchable PDF (OCR)” runs in your browser: the file is read and processed on your device, and the result is downloaded from there.

Is it free?

Yes, and with no watermark. The free plan shows ads, kept apart and unable to see your files. Premium removes the ads, works offline and accepts larger files.

Does it work without internet?

With Premium, yes: the tools keep working offline. On the free plan you need a connection to open the app, although the file is still processed on your device.
