What it does

Pull the tables of a PDF into Excel (XLSX) or CSV, with figures ready to calculate, even when a table continues on another page.

How to use it

  1. Open “PDF to Excel” and pick the PDF.
  2. Choose Excel or CSV, one sheet per table or per page, and the decimal mark.
  3. Tap “PDF to Excel” and open the file in your spreadsheet app.

Your files never leave your device

ToGoOven runs “PDF to Excel” in your browser, with code that runs on your device. The file is not uploaded to any server: nobody else sees it and it is not stored in someone else’s cloud.

If your device is slow or the file is very large, Premium lets you choose the ToGoOven server instead: only when you ask, with your permission for each job, and the file is deleted when it is done.

Frequently asked questions

Do the numbers end up as text?

No. Figures stay numbers, with the decimal comma or point you choose, ready to add up.

Does it work with a scanned PDF?

It needs a PDF with text. If yours is scanned, run it through “Searchable PDF (OCR)” first.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No, unless you ask. “PDF to Excel” runs in your browser; with Premium you can pick the ToGoOven server for a heavy file, which asks for your permission before sending it and deletes it when done.

Is it free?

Yes, and with no watermark. The free plan shows ads, kept apart and unable to see your files. Premium removes the ads, works offline and accepts larger files.

Does it work without internet?

With Premium, yes: the tools keep working offline. On the free plan you need a connection to open the app, although the file is still processed on your device.
